Obituary for Thomas Allen Johnson Thomas Allen Johnson, age 79 of 3334 Cold Springs Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Tuesday March 27, 2012 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a son of the late Donald and Geneva Belle Edmisten Johnson. Allen had worked at Blue Ridge Shoe Company, school bus driver, sanitation truck driver for the town of Mountain City. He loved farming, mowing his yard, word search books, and going to church. Allen was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and also attended Corinth Baptist and other churches. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Anna Pearl Waters Johnson, April 14, 2003, an infant Brother, infant Grandson T.J. Johnson in Feb. of 1995 Survivors are, Sons, Bill and wife Jeanne Johnson, and Ronnie and wife Theresa Johnson, both of Mountain City, TN Daughter, Brenda and husband Charlie Roark, Mountain City, TN Grandchildren, Kristina (Roark) and Paul Graybeal Mountain City, Thomas Roark, Gray TN, Callie Johnson, Mtn City Great Grandchildren, Nathaniel Graybeal, Madison Graybeal, Chloe Johnson, all of Mountain City. Brothers, Rev. Frank and Betty Johnson,Odell Johnson and fiancé Wanda Wilson, Scott and Linda Johnson all of Mtn City. Glen (Cotton) Johnson. Blountville, TN Many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service for Thomas Allen Johnson will be conducted at 8:00 PM Friday March 30,2012 from the Heroe's Chapel of the Johnson County Funeral Home with Pastors Tom Prater and Billy Morefield officiating. Pallbearers will be brothers and nephews Rocky Johnson, and Walter Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be, Richard Hammons, Adam Campbell, Dean Tester, Bob Eller, Allen Osborne, and Men of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. The Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday March 30, 2012 prior to the service. Grave side service and interment will be Saturday March 31, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Johnson Cemetery in the Cold Springs Community.
