Tim Campbell, age 45, of 135 Howes Lane, Butler, TN passed away Tuesday night, July 9, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the son of Charles Campbell of Mountain City, TN and Ruth White Estep of Elizabethton. Tim loved hunting, fishing and working on vehicles. He was preceded in death by one brother, Chris Campbell, uncles, Willard Campbell, Dean Campbell and Terry Campbell; and grandparents Joe and Lela Campbell. Survivors include: his father: Charles Campbell and wife Nancy of Mountain City, TN; mother: Ruth Estep and husband Jerry of Elizabethton, TN; one daughter: Lori Dotey of Johnson City, TN; two sons: Timothy Campbell of the home and Alex Curd of Mountain City, TN; brothers: Doodle Campbell and Mitchell Campbell, both of Elizabethton, TN and Christopher Campbell of Mountain City, TN; aunt and uncle: Bonnie and Danny Curd; special aunt Brenda Grindstaff who he thought of as a mother; former wife Jennifer Campbell of Elizabethton, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Tim Campbell will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013 from the East Side Memory Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Timothy Campbell, Alex Curd, Andrew Cole, Doodle Campbell, Bobby Potter and Danny Curd. Honorary pallbearers will be Junior Sweeney and Scotty Wilson.
