He was born May 24, 1960, to Virginia Brown and the late Melvin Ray Brown. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Ann Brown; and one brother, Paul Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of Dyson Grove Baptist Church and also attended South Side Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by four brothers: Ray Brown, West Grove, Pennsylvania; Wayne Brown, Bristol, Tennessee; Jerry Brown and Steve Brown, both of Mountain City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Timothy "Tim" Brown will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Sunday, May 13, 2007, from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Nave Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Keith Brown, Terry Brown, David Brown, Michael Brown, Shawn Brown, Travis Brown and Jeff Greer. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Brown and Coleman Brown. At other times, friends may call at the residence, 112 Melvin Brown Lane, Mountain City, Tennessee.
