Tishia Greer Miller

Tishia Greer Miller, age 91, Shady Valley, Tennessee passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at the residence. Mrs. Miller was born June 13, 1923 to the late Roby and Verda Martin Greer. She was an avid gardener and loved the flowers in her yard. She also enjoyed sewing and making beautiful quilts. Tishia was a member of the Shady Valley Baptist Church and attended faithfully until poor health prevented her. She was also an active member of the Women's Missionary Union for as long as she was able, and an honorary member for life. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Miller; daughter, Dianne Morin; Grandson, Joseph A. Morin; and infant sister, Nancy Greer; her sister, Sue Miller. Survivors include her son, Joseph Keith Miller; Grandson, Joseph J. Miller; Sisters, Lorella Tolliver, Mandlene Morley and husband, Delmar, and Ellen Dunn; Sister-in law, Ruby Miller. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A receiving of friends will be Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the Shady Valley Baptist Church, Shady Valley, Tennessee and funeral service to follow at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Richard Stout officiating. Graveside service and interment will be Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Shady Valley Memorial Gardens.
