Tommie Martin Reece

Tommie Martin Reece, age 74, of 658 Highway 67 North in Trade, TN passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in Watauga Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born in Trade on January 11, 1939 to the late Martin Luther Reece and Wilma Hazel Heaton Reece. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnnie Reece, as well as two infant brothers. Mr. Reece attended the Centerview Church of Christ, and was a Retired Master Sergeant E-7 in the United States Air Force. Tommie's survivors include his wife of 54 years Carolyn E. Wallace Reece of the home; three daughters; Janet Wilson and husband Danny Ray, Mountain City, TN; Debbie Price and husband Herman, Trade, TN and Brenda Grindstaff and husband Bones, Mountain City, TN; two sisters: Maxine Michael-Price, Mountain City, TN and Margaret Wallace and husband Larry, Mountain City, TN; three brothers: Eugene Reece and wife Elaine, Boone, NC; Bill Reece and wife Glenda, Trade, TN; Gary Reece and wife Roseletta, Trade, TN; one sister-in-law: Phyllis B. Reece; grandchildren; Nathaniel Wilson and wife Lauren, Johnson City, TN; Rachel Wilson and Fiancé Jake Osborne, Mountain City, TN and Thomas and Timothy Grindstaff, Mountain City, TN; Ashley Musick, Bristol, TN; Lyndsey Dugger and husband Jeremiah, Johnson City, TN; great grandchildren: Faith and Sean Musick, Bristol, TN; and Ava Dugger, Johnson City, TN. Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins also survive. A memorial service for Tommie Martin Reece, will be conducted on Saturday September 21, 2013 at 4:00p.m. from the Hero's Chapel of Johnson County Funeral Home with Mr. Bill Reece to officiate . The Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service, The family requests no flowers.
