Troy Stephen Tester, age 30, of 556 Noah Snyder Road, Mountain City, TN passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 17, 2009.   He was the son of Jerry and Novella Tester of Mountain City, TN and Margaret Wachenheimer and husband Andre` of Tucson, AZ. His hobbies included listening to music, loved playing Frisbee, and especially loved his faithful friend, his dog Rocko. Troy was a graduate of Nashville Automotive Diesel College where he was an honor student. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Nat Tester, and his maternal grandparents, Earl and Mertie Roten.

 

Survivors in addition to his parents include: his wife, Kelly Pennington Tester; one brother: Brad Tester of Nashville, TN; one step-sister: Jeanie Beach of Mountain City, TN; grandmother: Wilma Tester of Mountain City, TN; one niece: Kimber Joyce; one nephew: Jaden Peters; and special friends: James Eller and Chris Greer.

 

A memorial service for Troy Stephen Tester will be conducted at 7:30 P.M. Monday, April 20, 2009 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Bill McGuire and Rev. Shannon Courtner officiating. Pallbearers will be James Eller, Chris Greer, Jeremy Tester, Justin Tester, Adam Davis, Anthony Tester and Jeremy Joyce. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 P.M. prior to the memorial service.
