Vienna V. Blevins age 82, of 919 Medical Park Drive, Mountain City formerly of 159 Roller Mill Road, Shady Valley passed away, Tuesday, November 8, 2005 in the Mountain City Care Center following a brief illness. She was a native of Johnson County and was born November 29, 1922 to the late Stanley and Arline Blevins. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ellen Underwood, Ethel Cretsinger and Retha Goodman and four brothers, Dan Blevins, Pressie Blevins, Denver Blevins and Floyd Blevins. She was a faithful Member of Harmon's Chapel Christian Church in Shady Valley also a member of the Home Demonstration Club of Shady Valley. She loved quilting and crocheting. Survivors: include a daughter; Inez Crowe and Husband Ray of Cookeville, TN Two sisters: Hilda Long of Shady Valley, TN Geraldine Proffitt of Boonville, MO One brother: Donald Blevins of Springfield, Virginia Three grandchildren: Andrea Hargette of Greenville, S. C. Cathy Schubert of Indianapolis, Indiana Tiffany Crowe of Cookeville, TN Four Great Grandchildren: Grace Schubert, Anna Schubert, Hudson Hargette and Noah Hargette. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p. m. Friday from the chapel of the Henson Funeral Home with Mr. Howard Taylor to officiate. Burial will follow in the Blevins Cemetery, Shady Valley Music will be under the direction of Andrea Hargette and Roger Blevins Pallbearers will be: Nephews The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 1:00 p. m. Friday at the Henson Funeral Home.
