Violet Elois “Lois” Gore Cashion, age 76, of Griffin, GA, formerly of Mountain City, TN, passed away Friday, January 2, 2009, at the residence of her daughter, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Tabor City, NC, to the late Ralph Garland Gore and Arrie Agnes Gore

of Loris, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Revere Cashion; she was a homemaker and retired from Allied-Signal in Rocky Mount, NC as a Lab. Tech.

LeAnn Cashion Williams, Rock Hill, SC

Three Sisters: Ruby Gore Smith, Wilmington, NC

Opal Suggs, Loris, SC

Wilma Suggs, Loris, SC

Two Nieces: Billie Jo McDaniel, Loris, SC

Melanie Huggins, Myrtle Beach, SC

Six Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Grand Nephews, and 1 Great Grand Nephew

Service for Mrs. Violet Elois “Lois” Gore Cashion will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 10, 2009 from the Henson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Norman Reece officiating; music will be by Ted Gentry.

Burial will follow in the Reece Memorial Cemetery.

Henson Funeral Home is serving the Cashion family.
