Violet Christine Wagner, age 64, of Shady Valley, TN passed away Monday, July 20, 2009 in Johnson City Medical Center. She was a daughter of the late Beulah Kate and James Dallas Fletcher. She was a member of Shady Valley Baptist Church. Her hobbies included quilting and working in flowers. She was a loving wife to her husband, Jess Wagner; a loving mother to daughter Melissa McClain; a loving sister to Joyce Walker and Edna Garland and she was a friend to everyone she met.

 

In addition to her husband, daughter, and sisters Christine is also survived by her “special baby girl” Kailee who loved Christine more than anything in the world.

 

Funeral services for Violet Christine Wagner will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2009 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Burl Sluder and Rev. Eddie Porter officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday prior to the funeral service.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson County Cancer Support Group, %Flo Bellamy, 3510 Hwy 421 N, Mountain City, TN 37683.
