Virginia "Bonnie" Inez Paisley, age 55, of 1166 Yellow Brick Lane, Lenoir, North Carolina, passed away peacefully Friday, February 22, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Paisley was the daughter of the late William Robert Berkley Flanagan and the late Bertha Victoria South Flanagan. She was a homemaker and loved playing Bingo and Yatzee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Brown and Nancy Eckard and one brother, Sammy Ray Flanagan.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Clyde Paisley, of the home; two sons: Robert Isaacs and wife Tammy, of Mountain City, Tennessee and Gary Roberts of Lenoir, North Carolina; three brothers: Carl Flanagan, Jr. and wife Pearl of Hickory, North Carolina; Gene Flanagan and wife Tottie of Newton, North Carolina; Ralph Flanagan and wife Irene of Sawmill, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
Funeral services for Virginia "Bonnie" Inez Paisley will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. James Davis officiating. Active pallbearers will be Josh Burgess, Johnny Burgess, Jeff Flanagan, Gary Roberts, Jr., Timothy Jason Glass, and James Carver. Graveside service and interment will be conducted following funeral services in Isaacs Cemetery, Mountain City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 prior to the service.
At other times, friends may call at her residence, 1166 Yellow Brick Lane, Lenoir, North Carolina or at her son's residence, Robert Isaacs, 5530 Hwy 67 West, Mountain City, Tennessee.
