Virginia C. Peele, age 59, of 641 Dry Stone Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Thursday, May 26, 2005 at her residence following a brief illness. She was a native of Scotland County, NC and was born July 11, 1945 to the late Wheeler Wilson Caulder and Mrs. Lena C. Caulder of Mountain City. She was also preceded in death by a infant daughter, Tracy Pauline Peele. She was a homemaker and a member of the Peele's Chapel Wesleyn Church in Laurel Hill, NC. She loved working with genealogy, cooking and shopping. Survivors in addition to her mother are husband; Robert "Bob" Peele of Mountain City, one daughter; Tammy Britt of Laurinburg, NC, one son; Brian W. Peele of Warrensville, NC, four grandchildren: Kristen Peele, Britney Britt, Chanin Britt and Britain Peele. Special friends, Daniel Jones, Cindy Clawson, Brandy Davis, Lois Baumbarger, Susie Carlisle and Johnson County EMT. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Sunday, May 29, 2005 from the Peele's Chapel Wesleyn Church in Laurel Hill, NC with Rev. J. W. Williams and Pastor Mark Hatley officiating. Burial will follow in the Scotland Cemetery in Laurel Hill, NC. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p. m. Saturday, May 28, 2005 from the Richard Boles Funeral Home in Laurinburg, NC.
