Simms, age 89, of 919 Medical Park Drive, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Tuesday April 10, 2007 at Watauga County Medical Center. She was born September 2, 1918, to the late David Holmes and Aimee Hayes. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Christine Martin, Nellie French and Mary Frances Dignan. Survivors include her friends at Mountain City Care Center. It was Ms. Simms wishes to be cremated and no services will be held. Inurnment will be conducted at a later date at the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum of Love.
