Wanda Morefield

Wanda Mae Morefield, age 80 of 4726 Highway 67 West, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away at her residence on April 1, 2010.  She was the daughter of the late Luther Shupe and Loma Fritts Shupe.  Wanda was a member of Dewey Christian Church.  She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carson Morefield and a grandson, Richard Dunn.

Survivors include one daughter; Judy Dunn and husband Blake of Mountain City, Tennessee,  one son; John Morefield and wife Connie of Mountain City, Tennessee a sister; Mary Stout of Euharlee, Georgia and a brother; Dennis Shupe of Paducah, Kentucky, three grandchildren one great-grandchild and a nephew; David Stout of Euharlee, Georgia.

Funeral Service for Ms. Wanda Morefield will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2010 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel with Minister Bud Gentry officiating.  Graveside and interment will be conducted at Phillippi Cemetery at 10:00a.m. on Sunday, April 4, 2010.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Pallbearers will be Jonathon Morefield, Jason Palmer, Bryan Edwards, David Stout, Raymond Cress and Justin Rider.
