Proverbs 16:1
The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
Uncle Wiley entered his eternal home on August 15, 2024. Wiley was a simple, kind hearted, hard working man, who devoted all his love and life to his family. Although Wiley had no children of his own, the love he had for his nieces and nephews was his biggest joy. The impact he made on his family will never be forgotten.
Wiley Ray was born in Johnson County, Tennessee to the late Reece and Grace Brown Eggers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Eggers and Glenn Eggers; sister, Carolyn Calhoun and his niece Melinda Eggers.
He is survived by his sisters, Ruby Eggers(late jack key), Jeannie Eggers, Rose Jennings (Jamie) and Judy Furchess (Jimmy). Uncle Wiley was well loved by 10 nieces, 7 nephews, 27 great nieces, 14 great nephews, 2 great great nieces, and 4 great great nephews. He is also survived by his little dog, Bear Bear; special friends, RC Farmer and Tom Farmer and Mike.
Wiley valued a hard days work. He spent the majority of his life roofing as a profession for Welches Roofing. In his later years he spent his time lending a hand doing farm work with RC and Tom Farmer. He had a great passion for Nascar and watched it every Sunday that it was on with his sister, Jeannie. He attended many races with his family members, especially his nephew, Ray. How blessed are we to have had someone who makes saying good bye to be so hard.
Uncle Wiley, you may be gone from us on this earth but never gone from us in our hearts. We all thank you for a lifetime of love and memories. We will see you again soon. Bye, we love you.
