Obituary for Willard Ward Norris: Willard Ward Norris, age 68 of 237 Mae Tester Lane, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 at his residence. He was the son of the late Clarence and Betty Hayworth Norris. He was a very avid fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by daughter, Jackie Cornett, son, Jeff Norris, and brother, Wade Norris. Survivors include two daughters, Sandy White and husband Harvey, and Audrey Perry and husband Todd all of Butler, TN, son Shane Woodard and wife Amanda of Mountain City, two sisters, Margaret Lipford and Elsie Holden of Mountain City, TN, twin brother and best friend Millard Norris of Mountain City, TN, grandchildren, Hannah White, Emma Cornett, and Trinity Cornett of Butler, TN, Maggie Townsend of Hampton, TN, Tiffany Hammons, Sue Norris, Wayne Norris, Caleb Woodard, and Joseph Potter of Mountain City, TN and Todd and TJ Norris of Bristol, VA., Great Grandchild, Payton Townsend of Hampton, TN, several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Dean Dikes, Raymond Forrester, and Josephine Blackburn. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December, 19, 2010 at Sink Valley Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Norris Cemetery. Rev. Harvey White will officiate. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 2:30p.m.Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the church. Active pallbearers will be Richard Norris, Allen Pennington, Dean Dikes, Todd Perry, Mike Norris, and Marty Norris. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Ray Pierce, Gary Norris, Joe Norris and Johnny Norris. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad. Family and friends may call at the residences of his daughter Sandy White, 720 Piercetown Road, Butler, TN or brother's residence Millard Norris at 257 Mae Tester Lane, Mountain City, TN.
