William D." Boone" Roark Jr. age 37 of 246 Doeville Road, Butler, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at his residence surrounded by loved ones following an extended illness. He loved his family, playing guitar, fishing, and was always a practical joker. He is survived by: his parents; Danny and JoAnn Roark of Butler, his wife; Martha Roark of Elizabethton, sons; Will Roark and Jacob Roark, brothers; Freddy Roark and Thomas Hutchins and wife Tasha, sisters; Diane Harmon, Joyce Gourley and husband George, Michelle Walker, and Kelly Roark, special cousin and friend; Bill Winkler, and several nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life to honor Boone, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from Brick Christian Church at 815 Watauga Road, Watauga, Tennessee with Pastor Ernie Depew officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be: Junior Estep, Tim Gray, Gene Robinson, Tim Cameron, Rigo Alvarez, Dalton Roark, Isaiah Roark, and Gunner Hutchins.
