William Mathew Elder

William M. Elder, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. He was born October 6, 1944 in Montgomery, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Elder and Janie Mae Cooper Elder. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and his hobbies were woodworking and gardening. Survivors include: his wife, Valerie Travis Laumer Elder of Dade City, Florida;one son, Christian Cotton Elder, three God-daughters, Amanda Rago, Allison Sedgewick and Lindsay Sedgewick; sister, Sarah Kramer; brothers, Mike Elder, Macarthur Elder, James Elder and Theodore Elder. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Dade City, Florida.
