William Hegemann, Jr.

William "Billy" G. Hegemann, Jr.,age 66, beloved best friend, partner and husband, 578 Drakes Creek Road, Trade, TN passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 in Veterans Administration Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN. He was the son of the late William Gould Hegemann, Sr. and Mildred Barrett Hegemann. Billy was a member of Trade United Methodist Church. His hobbies included making children's toys and fine furniture. He loved raising chickens, gardening and his cats. Billy was an Army veteran having served during the Vietnam era and was a member of Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include: his wife, Katherine B. Hegemann, of the home; one brother: Ronald Gary Hegemann of Tallahassee, FL; sister-in-law: Peggy Burkheimer; niece: Kim Williams and her children Ryan and Kelly Dorman; and his nephew: Keith Webb. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 from the East Side Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Boo Hankins officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
