William Randy Pardue, age 69, of 1345 Lumpkin Branch Road, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Lucy Pardue, sister, Marrillias Wills, and niece Amanda Woodard.
After 35 years of service with the Tennessee State Highway Department, he retired and worked at Food Country. He was also an auctioneer for the Longhorn Auction Company. He was a member of the Roan Creek Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife of 51 years, Linda Pardue; daughters: Evelyn Huddleston and husband Danny, Cheri Potter and husband Tony, and April Pardue; a brother, Danny Pardue and wife Cindy; grandchildren: Jeffery Lipford, Bradley Lipford, Stephen Lipford, James Reece, Harley Reece, Dawn Lewis Lunceford and husband Jonathan, Dawson Potter, and Eden Potter; a great-grandchild, Nolan R. Davis; nieces and nephews: Austin Pardue, Megan Pardue, Ronald Wills, Melissa Hackney and several great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 8:00 pm from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux and Lipford Funeral Home with David Hankal and Mike McNutt to officiate. Music will be provided by Diane Wagner. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm prior to the service.
Graveside service and interment will be held Monday, April 15, 2019, at 10:00 am from the Stout Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend can assemble at the graveside at 9:50. Pallbearers: Jeff Wagner, Randy Duffield, Mike Eller, Pete Wagner, Skip Wills, Mike Wilson, Bob Pardue and Mike Duffield. Honorary Pallbearers: his Church Family, Junior Eastridge, Willie Arnold, Roy Hodge, Tommy Nelson, Ethan McQueen, Tony Eller, Trent Snyder, Don Hassenrick, and Bob Heck.
At other times the family will receive friends at the family residence.
