Worley Ray Stout

Worley Ray Stout, age 66, of 13697 Hwy 67 W, Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at the Mountain City Care Center. A native of Butler, Tennessee, he was born on January 11, 1940 to Kate (Simcox) Stout and the late Lon Stout. In addition to his father, Worley was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Rebecca Simcox and one sister, Janet Stout Wilson. He was a former employee of Timberland Shoe Company and was a member of Little Doe Baptist Church of Butler, Tennessee. Worley is survived by his mother, Kate (Simcox) Stout; two nieces: Karen Davis and husband Danny of Elizabethton, Tennessee and Tanya Johnson and husband Mark of Johnson City, Tennessee and one uncle, M.D. Simcox. Several cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Worley Ray Stout will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 2006 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Simcox officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, prior to the Service at the Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services and Interment will follow from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Tony Simcox, Aaron Simcox, Edwin Matheson, Jackie Ward, Nickolas Jenkins, Gerald Jenkins and Paul Barr.
