Yong Chang

Yong Hua Chang, 64, of Morganton, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 6, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born on May 2, 1958 in Laos, Yong Hua was the son of the late Xai True Chang and Sao Lor. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 42 years, Soua Yang Chang; his children, Michell Chang, Rick Chang and wife Jennifer, Julie Chang and husband Daniel Wolters, Connie Kong and husband Peter, Jay Chang, and Christina Chang; 2 grandchildren, Daphne Chang and Arthur Chang. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Saturday, January 21, 2023, the first service will be from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, a receiving from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and the second service will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Sunday’s service, on January 22, 2023 will be from 9:00 am to 11:30 am with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park in Mountain City, TN.
